Boys in the entry-level Training Choir rehearse once each week for one hour and fifteen minutes. Music theory training is incorporated into Training Choir rehearsals and includes the basics of music reading and vocal production. The Training Choir performs in all mainstage concerts. Rehearsals, performances and the Spring Music Camp provide opportunities for building friendships with other talented boys from throughout Broward County and beyond. Boys generally spend one or more years in the Training Choir as they build their skills in anticipation of promotion to the Residence Choir.
