Residence Choir members continue in their study of music reading, vocal production and music theory. The Residence Choir’s twice weekly one hour and 45 minute rehearsals provide a more intensive musical experience that also includes training in beginning stage work and choreography. The Residence Choir performs in all mainstage concerts and also enjoys opportunities to perform in contracted performances throughout the community. Residence Choir boys attend both Spring and Fall Music Camps which include more intensive theory training, building rapport among boys and providing an away-from-home experience in preparation for tour. Of course, there is also time for swimming, canoeing and the ever-favorite shaving cream fight. Boys who demonstrate discipline and dedication are considered for advancement to the Concert Choir.
