As the official touring choir of Florida’s Singing Sons Boychoir, the Concert Choir represents the culmination of several years of intensive musical study. Having been selected for their vocal ability, discipline and dedication, members of the Concert Choir continue their study of music theory, sight-singing and vocal production on a higher level. Regular rehearsals begin in August and are held for two hours, twice weekly. Concert Choir boys are required to attend two additional music camp sessions, held in the fall and summer. Performance opportunities include: public concerts in December and May, a yearly concert tour, and an active schedule of contracted appearances. As cultural ambassadors for the State of Florida, members of the Concert Choir have been afforded travel, performance and educational opportunities both here and abroad.
